MEMSIS is the Mississippi Emergency Medical Services Information System. The system is a comprehensive software system designed to aid the state in managing the information and processes associated with maintaining individuals and providers, and collecting statewide incident data. The systems is comprised of five distinct software modules.


MEMSIS Certifications maintains and manages information and processes associated with providers, vehicles, individuals, inspections, complaints, courses and testing.


MEMSIS Server is the state database for patient encounter data and provides extensive searching and reporting for statewide incident information.


MEMSIS Client is the local or provider database for patient encounter data that is distributed free of charge by the state for providers to collect and transmit information to MEMSIS Server.


MEMSIS Satellite is the FDA/mobile computing software for use by provider field personnel, extending the MEMSIS Client outside the office.


MEMSIS Inspector is the FDA/mobile computing software for use by state inspectors. It allows inspectors to take inspection information and data entry into the field.
